Rose Zehra Yildiz-Ozkan is a filmmaker and content creator who is focusing to create relevant stories and engaging content.
Rose has completed her MA Degree in Media Studies with focus of Digital Cinema Production from the New School and BSc in Psychology at Ege University in Turkey. She is aiming to implement that knowledge into her stories and character development.
As a filmmaker she possesses the skills of directing, cinematography, editing and writing. Her short film Alive has been selected to Katra Film Series and Female Filmmakers Fuse Film Festival, took place in Cannes Short Film Corner and selected and won an award in The New School Fine Cuts Festival.
The films she has worked as cinematographer had success on both domestic and international arena. The short film “Ben Me Over” has premiered on TV in Televisa Mexico on September 2018. The short film “Smile” also selected to Katra Film Series Fall 2018 and as well as The New School Fine Cuts Festival.
She is currently working on a web series called Immigreat that she has created; a mockumentary about immigrant life, which she has co-written, produced and directed. She currently works as a videographer and photographer for freelance projects.
